I managed to get a chance to go up to Wolford Chapel today. It's the place that you get to when you follow all the Canadian flags on the roadsigns across East Devon (see photos).
The chapel is the resting place of John Graves Simcoe, who was the first Lieutenant Governor of the province of Ontario, Canada from 1791-1796. It is a private chapel on the former estate of the Simcoes. It is owned by the people of Ontario and is looked after by the Ministry of Citizenship and Culture of the Government of Canada. I wonder if they ever organise trips for staff... it must be about 4,000 miles from Ontario.
I hope you enjoy the story and the photos.
Cheers,
Stuey
