Current Goal

I would like to travel back to Sonoma California, just north of Healdsburg, CA to Ridge Vineyards, specifically the Lytton Springs Vineyard. I would appreciate some photos of me and other fine vintages I may meet along the way...please no Beringer, Yellow Tail, jug wine or box wine....EWWWWwwwww!

The Ridge on top of the fridge...wine fridge.

Corky is the cork to a fantastic bottle of Zinfadel enjoyed on March 24, 2005. Specifically he was popped out of a 2002 Ridge Lytton Springs Zinfadel.

Tasting Notes: Deep ruby in color, showing ripe plum fruit, spice, briar, Dry Creek earth. Notes of pepper, dried briar leaf, black and red licorice. Rich, lively, elegant. Chalky tannins. Fantastic length.

It would be cool if you also enjoyed some good wines and maybe leave some tasting notes as well.

Wine was purchased from D. Yannitelli Fine Wine and Spirits in Cold Spring, NY.

I picked up the TB from cache GCVB42. It looked like it needed help, as only the TB tag was there. I see now what it was attached to, but that is no longer. I am holding it until I hear further from the owner.

Corky was destroyed when the cache he was hidden in was burned in a forest fire. The tin and all contents (Corky) were burned due to the heat.
