  • Spike, posing for the camera Spike wanted to get a picture of him on his new front porch. There were deer footprints in the neighborhood and an actual pheasant after helping him move in, so there should be plenty of company. And of course, this home is a bit higher above the river. A tremendous view, but enough shelter to keep him warm on those cold and windy nights ahead.

Passed up an opportunity to hang out with Spike back in August, when I retrieved Teedie's Teddy from Water Man. I think I'll not pass him up this time, and see if I can't find some higher ground for him so he doesn't need to swim anymore.
