I had actually planned NOT to retrieve this TB since it would mean a trip BACK to California. The other two travel bugs that were supposed to be in the cache were both missing. I decided to grab Penny least she suffer a similar fate. I think that I will drop her at the So Cal Xmas Cache party and let her start her journeys anew. And hey, another 5700 miles ain't bad for this flightless bird!!! 😁

I'm editing this log about a month later. Sorry I didn't get a picture of Penny in Chile, but here is a picture of a location not far from her cache location in Santiago. By the way, she flew Delta and rode in many taxi's. She had a great time in Santiago.

Thanks to SLOFolks for giving up Penny so she could travel to Chile. I'll get her as close as I can to the South Pole. She just might make it, yet.
