This travel bug is racing against the Petey da Penguin TB from Oregon to Australia. Please keep him moving toward his goal and post lots of pictures of his travels!

Umpqua Traveler originated in the South Umpqua River area in Oregon, where he lived a quiet life at the Umpqua Community College bookstore until he was purchased in order to become a TB. His favorite pastimes are hanging out and latching on to new friends.

Please return Umpqua Traveler to his hometown of Sutherlin, OR, USA after he’s reached his destination.

We dropped this traveller off in the hope that he would be a bit closer to Melbourne and the airport to help on the journey home.
Had a moment of worry when we thought the next person to retrieve it may have trouble getting it out of the cache.
However, about 100 metres down the road we realised we hadn't recorded the TBID# so had to go back, and yes there was no trouble getting the bug out.
