To travel to New Zealand...and maybe even have my picture taken with my namesakes (Hector's Dolphins that is...not Dougieniles--although he'd like to go to New Zealand one day, too)!
The Hector's dolphin is only found off the coast of New Zealand, which means it is endemic to New Zealand, and is the rarest dolphin in the world - not a title to envy!
Named after Sir James Hector, the curator of the Colonial Museum in Wellington (now the museum of New Zealand - Te Papa), the Hector’s dolphin is much smaller (1.3 meters compared to the Bottlenose's 4 meters) and is a little rounder than other New Zealand dolphins.
