Current Goal

I remember (like most Boomers) all of the Smokey the Bear TV ads that played when I was growing up. We even had someone in a Smokey costume come to my 4th grade class while a Forest Ranger warned us about the dangers of Forest Fires (apparently the motto has changed from "Only you can prevent forest fires" to "Only you can prevent wildfires"). Please share your Smokey the Bear memories with us as you move this coin from cache to cache.

Had to grab this cool coin. I certainly remember how the Smokey the Bear spots were so somber compared to the other commercials on kids TV back in the sixties and seventies.
