Current Goal

Please help me get to Hawaii (move me closer - i.e. go west), and once there, help me tour all of the islands with caches, before returning to Syracuse, New York!

About This Item

We spent three weeks in Hawaii in June 2004 (Kauai, Maui and the Big Island - where we found our first Geocoin!) We wish we could return (we got married on Maui), but that's not feasible in the near future, so we're sending this anniversary geocoin instead! Please keep it moving! Aloha!

PS - the coin has already had one side trip to Ireland, which is not moving closer to Hawaii, regardless of what some may say. We'd like the coin to make it to Hawaii, so if you can't move it west, please don't move it away from it's goal. Thanks!

PPS - The good news is that we returned to Hawaii (O'ahu and Maui) for our 10th anniversary in 2014!  Alas, from the November 28, 2014 'discovered' note, it appears this coin was added to someone's private collection.  If anyone sees it again, please ask the 'collector' to return the coin to us.  As clearly stated in the description above, this coin is not a collectible, and karma will catch up with the person who stole it.

A beautiful but muggy and buggy Memorial Day 2006 saw the Aloha GeoCoin dropped at Conway Station, Conway, Mass.

We were hoping it could catch a train out of the station, but Ronald Karr’s Lost Railroads of New England shows that:

1) the trains ran from 1881 until 1919,
2) the line was abandoned in 1923, and,
3) the rails were removed in 1925.

Oh, well.:-) Fellow cachers will have to help it on its way.
