Current Goal

D.A. is one of the members of the Frog Quad. He has three brothers or sisters who are highly competitive. He, however, is the most capable. His goal is to travel the farthest. It's a race among all four members of the Frog Quad to see who can get to somewhere tropical and travel the farthest over the course of a year. (Competition ends on Frog Day, the first Friday in October.) He likes to travel with you, and you'll also find that he's quite the ham and LOVES to have his picture taken. Bring him along on your adventures!

About This Item

D.A.

D.A. is only his nickname. His real name is D. azureus. It's up to you to find out what the D. stands for; the other members of the Frog Quad don't even know! He likes to spend time water sources, lakes, rivers, streams, or any other water body. Additionally, he is active mostly during the day and he is constantly on the move--with small leaps; so keep an eye on him--especially during the day. Finally, he is bold, aggressive, and very territorial; he doesn't like to share his area with other members of the Frog Quad. Keep him moving, and he'll be happy! (Jumping is optional.)

We are sorry to say that this trackable was Not found in "Into the Twilight" GC25QGA as expected. Perhaps the trackable owner or cache owner would do us all a favor and conceal the trackable from the cache inventory by moving it to "unknown location" (Mark item missing), and if there is a delayed retrieval later on, being in the unknown location will not affect the mileage or ability of the cacher to log it. Thanks :-)

DA was in my 100th find! What a wonderful way to celebrate and such a cute little guy! He hoped up on my shoulder right away. =) He's been telling me all about his travels and the rivers lakes and streams he's been visiting. He does not want to wait to long to be on his way again, hated being in the box waiting for his next find. ( You 've heard of the story of the "Frog in the Box" ) So he will be visiting some of my favorite places, he has alot of stories to tell his other froggy friends. I told him one of his brothers is in Germany ...and he is very happy for him. =) But says he likes Washington cause it is a very wet place, and seems to have a abundance of water. He mentioned something about going to Oregon someday as he heard about the beauty of the Columbia Gorge and all the waterfalls there.
