Current Goal

The mission of this travel bug is to travel the world for five years. Then make its way back to Hannibal, NY. This travel bug is part of a New York State technology education classroom project where middle school students are
learning how to use a GPS, GIS, and Geocaching. The class
will follow the bug as it travels the world and read your travel entry. Please take a digital photo and post it if you can.

About This Item

Traveling flowers

The flower key chain was given to me by a 7th grade student from the Kenney Middle School taking technology education. The student will graduate in five years and it would be nice if flower key chain can make it back for graduation ceremony at the end of June

My daughters and I picked up the Travel Bug during a nighttime geocache in Golden, Colorado. We were able to find the geocache in the dark with the help of the flashlight app on our smart phone. I brought it back with me to San Jose, California. I'll drop off the Travel Bug soon to a new location. Good Luck on your project!
