Old mission: Leave from my cache in Kettering, OH, and arrive in my first cache in St. Louis, MO (if it exists) or just a cache in West St. Louis near WashU. FAILED
Old old mission: Arrive in Paris at geocache GCPP1B (Les Etats-Unis, near L'Arc de Triomphe) by July 4th, 2006. I will arrive shortly after, hopefully to a glorious reunion with my old gas cap. COMPLETED!
This traveler is now an old RAM stick attached to the travel bug COPY tag.
This travel bug used to be a gas cap I picked up... somewhere. It was called Les Etats-Unis Petrol Cap. I wanted to send a travelbug to Europe that said something American. What better than a gasoline cap?! We love our automobiles almost as much as we hate buying gasoline. Hopefully some day an alternative fuel source, like Hydrogen or um... switchgrass, will become easy to produce and widespread. Until then, let this travelbug spread the cynicism of my own "addiction to oil" around the world.
