The "Palmetto Bug" key fob depicts the state flag of South Carolina. This bug wants to travel to all 50 states and around the world.
In 1775, Colonel William Moultrie was asked by the Revolutionary Council of Safety to design a flag for use by South Carolina troops. Colonel Moultrie chose the blue color of the troop uniforms and a crescent representing the silver emblem worn on their caps. The palmetto tree was added later to represent Moultrie's defense of the palmetto-log fort on Sullivan's Island against an attack by the British fleet on June 28, 1776.The South Carolina Palmetto is classified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as "Inodes Palmetto (also called Sabal Palmetto) and commonly known as the Cabbage Palmetto." It was adopted as the "Official State Tree of the State of South Carolina" by Joint Resolution No. 63, approved March 17, 1939.Aren't you glad this trackable is not a giant cockroach? We sure are!

We marked this missing based on the information from biddog421. Thanks for making the effort to check for this bug. Hopefully he will turn up someday!
It is not in the cache that it was supposedly placed in during August. I took the only TB in the container, which wasn't very large. Very sorry about that. I attempted to rescue. I have an MIA bug as well...it sucks. 😟
Found the Palmetto Bug in a low traffic area in the rural farm lands of NW Ohio. So rural that half the roads we went on today were either stone, grass, or dirt. Thought we'd help get it moving along.
picked up while visiting brother

Discovered this one today
Dropped this TB in our home cache to log mileage and then grabbed back. It has been snowed in with us for awhile.
