To go from Bend, Oregon, to Gilbert, Iowa, doing a tour of good fishing spots between here and there. Photos of the journey would be nice! When it reaches Iowa, the plug will go fishing one last time, before retiring to become a Christmas tree ornament.
This fishing lure is headed from the west coast to the midwest, so Aunt Karla can use it to catch a fish at Big Creek reservoir in Central Iowa. The plug was originally purchased in Ames, Iowa, and caught several largemouth bass in the midwest before it (and the rest of the contents of the tackle box) migrated west toward the sea. It's heading home, like the steelhead salmon do in Oregon.
