  • Photo Bunny sez, "Adios, Butch." Pepe and Photo Bunny take a portrait of "Butch's Pistol" and the "Hole-in-the-wall Gang." Great cache find in the Alabama Hills. The location and the poem hint were delightful. Watched a number of quail in the cache area. Dropped off "Butch’s Pistol TB" at the hole in the wall. Hope he finds his way closer to Butch’s country. Note: both movies, "Maverick" and "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" were written by William Goldman.

We took Butch's Pistol on a little Sunday drive to one of the filming locations of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", 20th Century Fox Studios - 10201 Pico Blvd., Century City, Los Angeles, California. Next stop... it's a surprise, but Butch's Pistol will really feel at home.
