Current Goal

I am a happy old camel who has so enjoyed the encharting deserts of the Najd. But though I adore my home I do so desire to see more of the World and experience exciting adventures to relate to my grandchildren and therefore I am quite happy to wander from cache to cache, country to country, meeting pleasant geocachers and seeing what there is to see.

Dropped off The Happy Wanderer at the "Treadmill to Oblivion Cache" in Victoria, the beautiful capital city of British Columbia, Canada. I hope the "oblivion" part does not prove to be the case for this little travel bug! This particular cache was chosen because it was the cleanest/dryest we found yesterday and seemed to be fairly active. But first he/she was taken on a sight-seeing trip to the famous Empress Hotel. Unfortunately it was a rainy day, so had to do all the photos inside.

  • At the Empress.... .......found a palm tree for this weary traveller ~ well, not really but was as close as we could get. Looks happy anyway!

The Wandering Camel has reached the West Coast. I'm sure he is enjoying his visit in a village on the edge of the Rain Forest. We'll take him to an "Island in the Pacific" next week end.
