Hoiho - Yellow Eyed Penguin

Hoiho - the noisy penguin.
The yellow-eyed penguin is only found in New Zealand is one of the rarest of our penguins. They live and breed around the south-east coast of the South island, on Stewart island and in the sub-antarctic Auckland and Campbell islands. They are known to Maori as Hoiho.

Sorry to advise that when we (cache owners) checked this afternoon, Hoiho himself was not there, but his tag and bag were. Despite your request to finders not to take the penguin only, someone has done just that! What would you like to be done with the tag?
