[We found the little guy & he's hanging with us on Valentine's Day! Here's a photo of him today, enjoying some Valentine candy. Tommorrow, we'll get him over to a cache near the water, but for tonight he'll be able to get a great view of the Puget Sound from our living room so he's real comfortable.]

Picked up Hungry Hippo yesterday from his resting spot on Whidbey Island and moved him up to Bellingham, near the Alaska Ferry terminal. He might have a little more travelling left to do before heading home....

Came by our cache to check on it and decided I had better put Hungry Hippo back into it so it can be on its way. We have had it too long and haven't had a chance to get it to another cache near water. Hopefully someone else will pick him up and help him on his way. Came by to check our cache to see how it was. We discovered Hungry Hippo, so we decided to bring him home to meet our dog and then replace him in another cache, we'll try to get him near water even if it will be cold this time of year.

  • Hoover meeting Hungry Hippo for the First Time They are having a great time together until we place Hungry Hippo in another cache. Either Hoover thinks he is a hippo or Hungry Hippo doesn't know he is not a dog.
