    Took the Graveyard Bug along to visit the Poet's Resting Place cache. This cache is in a well-kept cemetery where the poet Theodore Roethke from Saginaw is burried. Could not leave the Graveyard Bug because it is a virtual cache. I have found that there are at least two more graveyard caches in Michigan that the Graveyard Bug still needs to get to. Will try to take him to one of them soon.

    We took the Graveyard Travel Bug with us while finding this cache at night. We did not leave him there because it is not an actual graveyard- It is a place where a new parking lot surfacing project for the park killed off the rare orchids that used to appear there. We thought we knew just what cache to take him to next, but he had already been there!! We will have to research. Too bad there is not a graveyard feature on geocaching,com!

    We have the Graveyard Travel Bug. Got it from a small cemetery somewhat near Grayling, Michigan. Mostly the graves were late 1800s and early 1900s. Past logs at this cache included stories of witches and a story of a muffin left on a tombstone.
