This bug is the key to The Monarchy geocache. You must retrieve it and take it with you to locate The Monarchy. It should then be placed in another geocache in the Santa Barbara vicinity.

About This Item

This bug doesn't really travel very far. Snag it to find The Monarchy and then place it in another cache within 20 miles or so of Santa Barbara. Please don't leave the bug in The Monarchy cache itself. Full details at:

    Picked up the key and went to The Monarchy cache vicinity but was unsuccessful; police car shined their light on us as we entered the forested area, so we decided to leave. We will try again soon! Thanks, great trackable item!

    Went to retrieve the Key from Ratatoille. This cache had been muggled. Could not find anything that looked like a 'key' lying around in the area.
