This travelling 'Bug' Geocoin was released in Australia late in 2008. It's mission is to travel around Australia and the rest of the world, visiting lots of Surf Spots, before heading back to it's home in Cornwall UK.

    Took some scrabbling round in amongst the rocks to find the little red bugger, but now he/she is on the way to a beach on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia.

    You are so cool. We saw you at the Summertime Morning Tea event in Canberra ACT and while you weren't at a surfing spot, you were at a city that values the might beetle. As an owner and driver of a 1971 Super Bug myself, I was hoping to take you on adventures around Canbera and surrounds, but unfortunately it didn't quite happen today.
    Never mind, it was great to meet you and enjoy your company. Hope you make it home!
