Martey Moose

Martey Moose's name was inspired by National Lampoon's Vacation (M-A-R, T-E-Y, M-O-O-S-E), and even though he was born in Alaska, he has been on vacation in Seattle. Now he needs to get back home to see Slatrat! He doesn't mind traveling along the way, as long as he makes his way to the land of the midnight sun.

We approached this cache by water from our fishing boat. We found the cache and took Marty for a boat ride on Lake Sammamish. I will send a picture of him on the lake. We will help to move him along to his home.

I confirmed with the Pineridgeroamers that this TB ended up on a kid's shelf on Bainbridge Island. As a result, I am re-releasing Martey Moose so that he can get on his way to Alaska! He will soon be a FTF prize in a newly enabled cache in downtown Seattle.
