We gave Patty a nice warm home over the winter instead of making her sit out in a cold cache under the ice and snow of IA. When we decided to go to FL, we figured we'd take her along in hopes someone visiting the Houses O' Mouses from far flung reaches might help her on her way across the pond.
Plus, we thought she might like to take in some sites along the way...
The first pic we have is Patty taking in the flowers as EPCOT was getting ready for their big flower show. Note all the floating baskets in the pond behind her.
Next, she made a quick stop in Paris! Ok, so it was only Paris of the EPCOT variety, rather than the French, but at least now she'll know it when she sees it for real.
And finally, Patty got in touch with her inner astronaut at Kennedy Space Center. In this last picture she's posing with the tower structures of Launch Complex 39A in the background. This was where STS-133, the last journey for the shuttle Discovery, launched from just a few days earlier.
We enjoyed having Patty for company and hopefully she was happy with our hospitality.
Good luck in your journey Patty!
