Hello, my name is Homer. In 2005 my owners decided it would be a good idea to leave me far away from home and see how long it would take me to return. They released me in Durham and it took four and a half years for me to make my way back to their 'Dark Side of the Moon' cache near Orpington, by which time they had moved to Horsham.
The following three releases were in the Cotswolds, in Aberdeen and in Whitby. My journey home to West Sussex took 19, 15 and 3 months respectively. I thought I was getting the hang of this homing lark. My mistake. I'm a homing pigeon, not a homing lark. When my owners dropped me at Stonehenge it took a little over 19 months to get back to them.
Now my owners have moved to Lincolnshire, specifically to Sleaford (18 miles south of Lincoln.) In December 2016 they launched me into the wild for the sixth time by taking me only as far as Sheffield. Within 10 months I met my owners again at an Autumnal Equinox event and stayed at home for the best part of a year. My seventh trip began in August 2018 when I was left by a lovely shrine in the Pennines. All I have to do now is get to any cache in or near Sleaford. If you've found me, please help by moving me in the right direction.
