Terme d’usage oral dans le jargon des aviateurs de la R.A.F au milieu des années 1920, puis popularisé par les Américains durant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. C’est une petite créature imaginaire blamée pour toute défaillance mécanique ou électronique.
AMULETTE:
Tout objet (gemme, statue, piece, pendantif, etc.) qu'on porte sur soi et auquel on accorde des vertus de protection et ou qui porte chance.
L'AMULETTE DU GREMLIN:
En déplaçant de cache en cache ce Travel Bug, son porteur, ainsi que son équipement, seront protégés des blessures, bris et dérèglements causés par des GREMLINS.

GREMLIN:
Term in oral use in R.A.F. aviators' slang in mid 1920 and popularized by Americans during the World War II. Etymology of the word could be from the Irish word gruaimin; meaning a "bad-tempered little fellow." It’s a small imaginary creature blamed for any mechanical and electronical failures.
AMULET:
Any object (gem, statue, coin, pendant, etc) intended to bring good luck and/or protection to its owner.
GREMLIN'S AMULET:
In moving from cache to cache this Travel Bug, its holder, and his/her equipment, will be protected from injuries, damages and disturbances caused by GREMLINS.
