I decided to create another Geek Bug as it appears the last one is lost in the world somewhere. ***Update*** The original Geek Bug has returned home!

I am a true geek at heart, and computers are my life. Therefore, I wanted to create my very own Geek Bug. The point of this travel bug is to simply travel around the world visiting geeks everywhere.

This bug is an old AMDDuron 700 processor I had lying around that blew up at some point. For those that have never seen one or these, or have no idea what it is, in layman's terms, this is the brain of your computer.

8/11/10 - Just got notification that this one is missing. This makes me sad, as I am the one who seems to have last seen it 'alive'. We dropped this one while on a vacation trip. If it were closer, I would go check the cache myself.....so sad 😟

I worked in an electronic Company before in S.korea & Phils. that manufactured hybrid IC. .... We just came from silicon valley. Too bad we didn't have this one along then.
