Current Goal

I'm off on an adventure! From the foothills of Colorado I will travel from place to place...enjoying all the sights along the way. Hopefully I will make it to other states...and if luck would have it...other countries too. I am a Land Rover...born to see the world. Why should Jeep's have all the fun?

After reading your goals,I judged that I would be the one to start the world travels for Rover. Check out my cache list & see if you can guess where it will land. It will be a few days till that happens. Jim

The Land Rover got to "ride" slowly down from the Nugget Hill cache, in my backpack. I'll try to walk him into another 4x4 cache... or maybe take him to New Mexico - we'll see!

Land Rover Discovery has been on quite an adventure! I have been showing the author Charles Wells some of my favorite 4WD roads. Last Monday we wheeled up Red Elephant Hill (Near Empire CO.) and then GPS'd the Empire Loop road. 'LRD' was with us all week. Tuesday LRD wheeled up Yankee Hill, Miners Gulch and the Pile Hill loop. Wednesday LRD explored Moon Gulch and Gamble Gulch. Thursday the little TB was visiting GCGA5X but wanted to stay with us a while longer. Friday LRD wheeled all the way up the tough Left Hand 4x4 road and then crossed over and came down the Castle Gulch 4WD road. Saturday was the grand finale with the hard core jeep ride up Gillespie Gulch and then on up to the Nugget Hill Cache (GCG8E0). Land Rover Discovery is now resting in a hard core jeep 4x4 cache. Can a Land Rover rescue him?

Well I actually found Land Rover on the 5th but logged him after midnight so today he did get to go on an adventure with my 4-wheeling club the Trailridge Runners http://www.trr4wd.com/ to help with a signing project on the Miller Rock 4WD road. The Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forest was represented by Brian D. Rasmussen. He was aware of Geocaching and was gracious enough to pose for a picture holding Range Rover with one of the clubs hard core Jeeps in the background.

Whooo FTF on this little 4-wheeler TB! I'll take him for a ride in my jeep today! I will be part of a Forest Service signing project on the Miller Rock road.
