Current Goal

I want to move on to the West. My destination is Tom's Place located in the High Sierras of California just South of Mammoth Lakes. My job is Search & Rescue in both the winter & summer where I am much needed. My recreation time is spent fishing at Tom's Place, X-skiing, & snowshoeing in Mammoth Lakes. I am needed there so please when you can, send me on my way. I belong in a cache at Tom's Place.

About This Item

I am a German Shepard Search & Rescue dog that came to Pensicola Fl. to enjoy the warm waters of the Gulf, had a wonderful time romping in the warm surf. While I was in the area I decided this would be a wonderful opportunity to visit "The Wall South" War memorial. So many names of those lost in the war, it was very moving and made me appreciate our FREEDOM even more. God bless all our Veterans on Veterans Day Nov. 11, 2002. I was also able to visit the National Museum of Naval Aviation, WOW, that was unbelievable and I highly recommend everyone seeing it. This weekend the Blue Angels will be having their homecoming and that will be extrodinary to see.
I realize I need to get back to California very soon, but before sending me, I would like to play with you and get to know you. I love frisbees, balls, sticks, & just hanging around with you. Please rub my ears, scratch my belly, and give me love, but send me on my way because I love where I live and miss all my friends...I was used in honor of Veterans Day. Happy Caching! Love, Courage

    I originally had this TB back in Oct 03, but gave it to another cacher instead of placing it in a cache. I wrote a note instead of logging it in it to save time. Now I am logging it in.

    I checked the cache on 1/25/04 and it was under snow. I was able to walk to it in ankle deep snow (not bad) and it was completely covered, but you can still, at this point, unbury it. I chose not to just so I wouldn't give it away to a fellow geochacher. Light storms coming in this week. I won't know if it gets buried more or not. It is lower ground there, than here where I am. Happy caching!!! Looking forward to being re-connected with my good friend and companion "Courage".

    thanks to the nv-dmv, i finally had the opportunity to drive up here and drop-off the courage travel bug.
    that was a great relief on two counts.

    courage wants to head south down hwy. 395 to tom's place, which is between mammoth mountain and bishop, calif.

    give the little guy a safe trip.
