THIRD TIME IS A CHARM. This is the THIRD time I've put this bug out. It keeps going missing. Clearly Jackson does not "nose" his way. Hopefully this time he will keep going.

I named this bug after my dog, Jackson. He was a good dog and like all good dogs, he's in heaven now. He gave me 15 wonderful years of companionship and affection. Jack was not a smart dog nor a handsome dog. He did however have a great nose and loved to sniff. I always thought that if I let him, he'd take off after his nose and when he finally stopped and looked up he would have absolutely no idea where he was or how to get home. So that's what I'd like this bug to do - follow his nose and sniff the things dogs love.

Jackson's Nose let him to a logical cache for him to visit. We thank you for allowing us the pleasure of helping him on his way. He is visiting another of our caches (GCR4MA) near a very nice park along the St. Joe River in Mendon, MI. The cache is a memorial cache for Seth, a white boxer who is very likely with Jackson at this moment in Heaven. We had hoped to photograph him with the "Seth" Memorial TB that we had dropped off the day before, but another cacher has already picked up Seth and is moving him on his way.
