My mission is to accompany a Geocaching blood donor when she/he donates whole blood or apheresis at an American Red Cross Donor Center. I would like to accompany 2 donors in each of the 50 United States.
In my accompanying green Geocaching micro container is a list of all 50 states (x2. Except Wisconsin, which has 3. My owner took me on my first donor trip and would still like 2 others in Wisconsin to donate.). Please punch a hole in the box next to the state where you took me along to your blood donation before dropping me in a new cache. Please note the city where you gave your blood donation in your log here. Thanks for your donation!
If I have not been to 2 donations in the state in which I currently reside, please send me on my way in the same state.
If you are not a blood donor, but would like to help me on my journey, thanks for your help! Please do not move me to another state until I have been to 2 blood donations in the state in which I currently reside.
The travel bug consists of the dog tag, an American Red Cross GIVEBLOOD wristband, a green Geocaching micro container with the states list, and a tag outlining the bug's mission. It is an a ziplock bag for ease of travel, and will probably only fit in regular (minimum) sized caches.
