**UPDATE** Written below is the original description. This Travel Bug disappeared in 2010 when it was last discovered somewhere in Germany. I finally figured it was gone for good and would never turn up again, so I retrieved it, revamped it, and setting it loose again. It is now a collection of beer coasters. Feel free to add your own or mention your favorite brew in your log. Cache on, and good cheer!
I want to travel far and wide and meets lots of geocachers, but along the way I'd like to visit local and/or historic breweries and pubs, but eventually make it back to a cache in Alaska, where I have never officially been as a Travel Bug. I like having my picture taken too. P.S: Drink responsibly. Don't drink and drive. Friends don't let friends drive drunk.
That geocacher mother of mine! She buys souvenir magnets wherever she goes, to remember her various adventures. And I'm one of them. But I'm special. She adopted me when she vacationed in Juneau, Alaska, in June 2005, and brought me back home to Texas for the very purpose of sending me out into the world as a Travel Bug. Fortunately she was of sound mind, even after having tasted a unique brew from my home brewery, made with imported Czechsolvakian hops that were flavored with smoked salmon (How Alaskan can you get?). She must have been impressed, she even bought a T-shirt with my logo on it in the obligatory gift shop. And I never did have to hang out with that rag-tag bunch of misfits on her refrigerator. So look out world, here I come! As of August 2008, I've been to 12 states and got a face-lift to boot while visiting Salt Lake City. Check out the map of my travels.
