We are a k-5 school in Currituck NC, Petunia is the sister of our school mascot Petey. Our mission for Petunia is to travel across NC visiting all of the counties before returning to Currituck. We would love to see any pictures from her travels that you would like to share.

Found Petunia in Perquimans County, where Hertford, NC is. Loved the town... hanging baskets in town. Sorry I missed the Indian Summer festival. Looking forward to visiting Chowan County, where Edenton, home of the Edenton Tea Party is.

I found this cache, but not without an adventure! I found Petunia! the travel bug placed by MESPANTHERS. I took her on a tour of beautiful Currituck County. We saw the Historic courthouse and the ferry that carries children to school each day. We headed to Moyock to see the Elementary school so that Petunia could wave good bye before beginning her trek. On to the border for an ice cream cone and a pix of the welsome to NC sign. Petunia is on her way to Pasquotank County next....

  • Let's See All of NC The virginia/NC border of NC. I hope that I will get to see all 100 counties before I come back home to MES.
