Current Goal

My original mission was to get to any of the geocaches near Fort Hood, Texas, where the soldier in this photo could pick me up before he was deployed to the Sandbox. That mission was COMPLETED! Thank you!

NEW MISSION: To travel to any caches near interesting US Military related things and return back home before May 2010 when my soldier returns home from Afghanistan. That misson failed, but I am now accounted for and back on the move. The soldier returned home safe after one year in Afghanistan, yay!

NEW MISSION: To travel to caches near anything related to the US Military.

My son grabbed this from the cache near Fort Hood, Texas on December 5, 2008. He held on to it for a while but is now is Afghanistan so his wife mailed it back home to us. We will change its goal and get it back out into circulation. Thanks everyone for getting it to my son so quickly!

Got a phone call from my soldier today! He has the TB is his possession! Once he gets to a computer, I will explain how to log it online. This was my son's first geocache and he thinks maybe he and his new wife will enjoy the game. It has been quite a rewarding experience to send this TB to my son and talk with him on the phone as he found it! Thanks again to everyone who helped it move so quickly!
