About This Item

I gathered the 7 buttons hitchhiking on this TB's chain throughout the years when rummaging in the facinating button boxes belonging to my grandmothers, mother and mothers-in-law. I have been blessed with talented, supportive, loving family members and wish to honor them.

Please leave the orignal buttons on the the chain. If the spirit moves you, feel free to add a button you have collected from a loved one.

    Picked this T.B. up at the Travel Bug Hotel, in Summerside. 🙂

    I've enjoyed reading the stories, and remembering my Mothers collection of buttons that I played with, when I was a wee toad.

    The large 'coat button' is very similar to another that I remember, but, alas, the collection is long gone. My own accumulation of buttons includes a special one; I'll check to see if it fits on this chain.

    Let the buttons travel a bit more. About the memories, I remember my grandma sitting on the chair on the porch of our cottage and giving tasks to everybody around her - just like she was a 'queen of the hill' and we were her subordinates. 😁
