Current Goal

These two European friends and neighbors cashed in their inheritance and had a wild time in foreign lands. Will they be welcomed with open arms when they return home, worthless and contrite? Or will they wander homeless for eternity? Their mission is to travel from country to country logging stops in caches in France, Belgium and Luxemburg before they receive a new mission (probably to return to their cache of origin).

About This Item

Franc and Franc as a TB

These coins traveled to the US after a European visit 10 years ago. The national currency has since been replaced by the Euro, so unlike their cousins (Loonie and Toonie) these ceased to be legal tender even before they were drilled through. I knew the moment I found "Greetings from Belgium" cache that it would be the launch site for this TB.
