About This Item

Broze Star Replacement Geocoin

This item originally was a travel bug dog tag attached to the real deal. However it was muggled from a cache in Illinois. I have sent the coin as a replacement with the help of miataman. Hopefully, it will make a longer journey this time. Please do not drop in a cache that is likely to get muggled.

Great coin in a fitting location.

We believe this is a most appropriate place to put this bug. On the fenceline of Fort Huachuca AZ, an historic and still very active Army post dateing back to the Buffalo Soldier days.

With great pleasure will take this to an area of military importance. Bronze Stars are to be treated with respect. Thanx for the opportunity.

Out riding in desert where General Patton trained his army for WWII. You can still see the tank tranks, Jeep tracks, and rocks lined up showing the edge of walkways, paths, and edges of tent incampments.

Saw this out in desert near Quartzsite as another person was placing it in a cache.

I picked it up while staying at my son's house. We will take it to AZ and place it in one of the caches close to where General Patton trained his forces for World War II.

I searched "Caching for Critters" for this coin, but it was not there. So the owner blackjack194 declared it lost after many months of non-movement and two cachers saying it was not in its last known location. He then sent me a replacement coin as I was the last person to look for it. I tried to pick it up from "Caching for Critter", but I could not as blackjack194 was making a replacement. I guess this picks it up from the cache it was in, but I could then take it from him. Hopefully it will log the correct miles with all this going on, and it WILL be on its way :-)

Good luck and carry on "Bronze Star"...carry on.

After a scare when this TB went AWOL for a little while from the "War Veteran's Memorial Cache", it has now gone totally MIA from "Caching for Critters". I have had a replacement made and, with the help of Miataman, it should be on its way soon.
