The acorn is the fruit (nut) of the oak tree (genus Quercus). It is a symbol of patience ‘Mighty oaks from little acorns grow’ and also an heraldic symbol of strength.

Found in the Mell Fell cache in the Lake district not logged there so grabbed from last person to hold it . They have not been online for awhile so have not contacted them . will find a nice new cache soon x
