Found it at 4:27pm and the temperature was 83 degrees. This was difficult and a lot of fun. The stairs was a killer workout. I knew I was in the correct area but I couldn't find the non-paved trail. After a bit of second guessing myself, I decided to give it a try with something that looked like a trail. I was correct - the trail is basically very much overgrown now but seeing little shreds of cloth hanging from the trees helped. Once I got to the boulder, it was an easy find. Again - this was great and really liked this cache - it was awesome.
Out from Matthews, NC USA for some business and did some caching while out here.
In all, I hiked 15.5 miles between going to The Peak's Toilet (GCRHJ2), Tram Peak (GC33A8) and HK's First Bookcrossing Cache (GCJ16B) and the return trip to the hotel. I was beat!
Left Wilbert the Duck TB and Took Antz in my Pantz TB. Note to owner of Antz in my Pantz: I am traveling and will release him as soon as I can but it may take me a little time due to my travels - so be patient please. He's in great condition - just slightly damp.
I do plan on him fullfilling his mission to get to a shelter, a picture taken and donate some food. My daughter loves animals and she'll love doing this for his mission when I return to the United States with him.
