Bradford - West Gwillimbury (BWG) is a town situated approximately 40 km/25 miles north of Toronto, Ontario. It is situated in the centre of the Holland Marsh vegetable growing area, and straddles Hwy. 400, the main north-south route out of Toronto.
With all of the recent construction in the west end of town, the Town has constructed a paved, walking trail stretching from Con. 6 and 10 Sideroad all of the way to north of Con. 8 and Hwy. 11 (Yonge St.). Eventually the Trails Committee hopes to expand these trails to link up to other hiking areas such as Scanlon Creek Conservation Area, and other municipalities and/or townships.
In an effort to bring recognition to these trails, I have placed a series of caches along its length, and started this key tag on its travels to help promote our home area.
