About This Item

Fake?

Tarantula is the common name for a group of hairy and often very large spiders belonging to the family Theraphosidae, of which approximately 900 species have been identified.

I use to love these kinds of spiders as a kid and always wanted a live one for a pet but Mom would never let me. So here I go, I just want everyone else to enjoy the thrill of finding my new pet. Yeah I know it fake, I figure a real one would not be happy hanging out in a cache for to long.
Beside I am sure there is some Geocaching rule about live animals as Travel Bugs. Go figure, someone always has to spoil the fun for everyone.

Found this in cache GCMBYM I Thinks someone didn't log an action because I can't figure out how to 'discover' this at the cache I found it at. Which definitely was in Colorado.

It scared me!!! My brother found this scary guy in Arizona and asked me to cache it in Colorado where I live. We put it in western Colorado in cache # GCMBYM. It's the perfect place for a spider like this one. It was fun placing him. TFTTB
