Spreading a little Austin Weird throughout the caching world.
Most of the world, we do confess
Has discovered cuisine called "TexMex"
And from that epicurian alley
Many side streets do forth sally
Every cook has their own brand
Of TexMex "authentic" through the land
Here in Austin, we have our mix
Traditional or trendy kicks
Amongst those is a place called Chuy's
(I do recommend the enchiladas, gooeys,
And the creamy jalapeno dip--
But through the menu I don't mean to zip)
The food is good, the decor unique
Truly odd chachkas, everywhere you peek.
Because in Austin, "Weird" is our motto
(maybe 'cause our brains melt when it's hot, oh...)
So this Chuy fish decided to swim
Out into the world, on a cacher's whim.
Spreading smiles and a touch of good cheer,
A big Texas, "Howdy, Y'all," to all who would hear.
And if it kinda makes you drool
For queso dip, that's also cool
Pull up some tortillas, rest a while.
And share an international cacher smile!

I love my food, fast or roast,
a sarnie, 3 course, or just toast.
Now if this fish likes its chilly
The Lakes is the place, its high and hilly!
Oh...not that sort of chilly huh????

I wanted to place this TB into a cache at a Neolithic Stone monument in Kent. Sadly the cache was very full so I had to take it home, but I took a couple of photos to commemorate its visit there. Note the mysterious 'Orb' at the knee of a fellow cacher. The stones are located in a very haunted area so make of it what you will!
The stones are the remains of a Neolithic tomb and at least 4,000 years old. Sometime over its history the stones collapsed and then were finally completely pushed over, possibly by medieval farmers.

Into Wales did this fishy swim,
And into British choppy waters.
No chilli was found, just a pig roast abound,
And a crown, for a princess to win.
I love a good Tex Mex. If the owner would be happy to, can they e-mail me their favourite recipes for a Beef Tex Mex? 😁

And so we release you Chachkas fishy
Into the cache sea, with tail so swishy.
Those who find you may you please
As they play TB catch and release.
