Here's a unique travel bug. A 16M Yellow USB FlashDisc. It's mission is to travel around letting GeoCachers put items on to it for others to see.

Rules for the bug:

  • Connect the MemoryBug to any computer with a USB port.
  • Enjoy looking over the items other GeoCachers have placed on the bug.
  • Create a folder with your GeoCacher name so we know who the items are from.
  • Share a few digital pictures of yourself, your favorite geocaching spots or maybe .loc or .gpx files of your favorite caches. Please keep them in open standard formats like JPGs, GIFs, etc. (Mac & PC friendly). So anyone can open the files. Drop the files in your named folder.
  • DO NOT place any programs, executable files, etc. on the drive (please avoid spreading viruses). Please virus check the MemoryBug if you use it and delete any executable files (infected or not). The MemoryBug is for data files only.
  • Drop it off at another cache for someone else to see and share.

If you only want to relocate the bug feel free to do so, but I encourage people to share memories with others.

We picked this up at the CSI: Cleveland event yesterday. There are many interesting pictures on it. We especially loved the pictures of the pug dog. We'll take more pictures and move it soon. Thanks for sharing!
