This is in memory of my dad, Dean Frederickson. Dean was a P-38 pilot in WWII and loved to fly all over the world. Please take me with you on your next flight. If you have a camera, please take my picture and add it to my log journal. My goal is to fly as far around the world as possible.
This key chain has P-38 plane charms as well as some blue crystal beads. It was quite appropriate to attach this key chain to this travel bug.
On September 8, 1944, Dean entered the United States Army, serving his country during WWII as a pilot of a P-38 in the 9th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron flying photo missions in China, Burma and India. Once Dean returned home to raise his family, he purchased a Cessna 180. Dean flew us many places in his Cessna 180. We cherish those memories of our time in flight!
