PLEASE KEEP THIS GEOCOIN MOVING!!  It doesn't much care where it goes, as long as it gets there   We own this, but have sent it out into the world so that others can enjoy it, collect its icon and then pass it on to another cache.  If you can post a photo of it on its travels, that would be great   Discoveries are always welcome. About This Item

The coin

This is one of a set of three geocoins issued by Hogwildstuff back in 2007 or so.  The three geocoins are all the same pattern, but are of different colors, the others being blue and red.  The design is taken from some of M.C. Escher's well-known lithographs, called tessellations, that show lines, circles or waves of repeating, interlocking shapes that slowly morph into other shapes, or which show a group of such shapes, one or more members of which move out of the two-dimensional drawing, only to return to it at another point.  Jim of the team has been a fan of this art since he was in junior high, so it was not surprising that these geocoins were an immediate hit with us   Be sure to check the links directly below, to see all three of the coins as a set.
