About This Item

Forget Alaska and the bat.  Both those went missing.  Now the third try is just a round piece of wood.  Only the name remains. 

This TB was originally a memento from our trip to Alaska in 2005.  It lasted until 2007 and went missing.  Since then I've evolved and want to keep the number active.  My evoloution includes developing a taste for rum on the rocks.  There are plenty of good options, but my standard is Bacardi 8 which is a dark rum aged for eight years.  The bottles sometimes come in containers with the Bacardi bat on them.  This TB is one of those bats.

    We picked up Survivor's Alaska Bug totem from "On the way to Mt. Vernon?" where I guess it was just placed the day before...and took it back to Maryland, where it had come from! Oh well, maybe it just needed to rest after all this recent travel! We fed it some Alaskan smoked salmon (surely it is feeling a little homesick - see Gallery pic) which we happened to have and sent it on its way to another adventure, this time by a natural spring!
