(1259) Our log for this event could be summed up in one word - COLD - but, that's not our style We set out early this morning to cache our way to the event so this was our last find of the day.
As always it was nice to see familiar faces but 15 minutes just wasn't long enough. We took some video at the event and will see how it turns out before committing to publishing it!

Thanks for the event and the laughs - not a good day to get wet!!!!!!!

(1175) We decided to make a weekend of this event and arrived on Friday night. As we pulled up to the cabin we noticed a fire tack in the tree by where we parked. We joked that there might be a night cache and then went about unloading the car and putting on some comfy clothes. We headed over to the fireside for some good company and discovered that there was indeed a night cache that started next to our cabin, so, before turning in for the night we went for our first adventure of the weekend.
On Saturday we did a little caching and I especially appreciated those easy terrain caches around the restaurant. We mostly spent Saturday relaxing and catching up with caching friends that we don't see often enough. On Saturday night we enjoyed a Chilli dinner and more great company at Finch Farmers cabin - thanks Deborah and Randy!

Thank you to Kadlaw, House of Boys, Golden Gecko , Coyote xMx and Speedtrap55, Evil Empire and HC for all of your hard work. A special thanks to Hill Folk, Finch Farmers and 3 Men and a Mommy, for the fireside company and everything else you did to contribute to a great weekend.

(1146) A big thank you to the 3Elves who helped make this event possible. Another big thank you to everyone who attended the event to make it a success. It was great to see so many people there, to meet up with old friends and to make some new ones. A special thanks to all those cachers who came from long distances and still made the 8 o'clock time (or close enough to it) - Hill Folk, Diamond79, Summitt Dweller and Rainbow Cache.
Congrats to (dd) on winning the honor to claim FTF on the event ... for those wondering how we did the drawing, we numbered all of the log entries and drew a number from a hat.

Congrats also to the lucky six who found poker chips and claimed their goody bag prizes, we hope you enjoyed them and we hope that the Polk Street Bandits managed to find the cache that they won the coordinates to

After breakfast we went hunting 3Elf caches and actually managed to get one FTF ourselves for the day. All our caches placed for the event have been submitted for publication and should be showing up soon.

(1122) We reached the 'Bash just before 6:00pm today. We headed to registration only to find an unofficial pathtag meet and greet happening. We've been looking forward to this event for a while now!
We traded some tags and headed over for the ice cream social before 7:00pm. Then it was to the Merchants building to hunt down Rusty who owed us some pathtags!!! YAY!!!

A big thank you to everyone who has had a part, however small, in organizing this great event!

See you all agian tomorrow...

(1059) Thanks for putting on the event. We thought about going to the Des Moines one last week, but it was just too far away! It was nice to have one a little closer to home. (To be read in a sarcastic tone!)
There were new and familiar faces at the event and it was nice to be able to put a few more faces to familiar names. Cachers from Kansas City to Davenport and all places in between attended which was great to see.

We met Cydriver at last and traded Pathtags. We won a MOGA Geocoin in the raffle. The food, drink and conversation were all good. What better way to start a day of caching. We found 17 of 18 caches looked for today and got 4 FTFs.
