Current Goal

Ambassador Spock is on a return mission to Vulcan. According to www.mapquest.com, Vulcan is located in the following counties in the USA.
1) Jefferson, AL
2) Gunnison, CO
3) St Clair, IL
4) Dickinson, MI, 49852
5) Iron, MO, 63675
6) Columbia, OH
7) Lucas, OH
8) Schuylkill, PA
9) Marion, TN
10) Orange, VA

As an extra challenge, Spock desires to return to Vulcan in ROMANIA, which is outside of Brasov. Currently, GC5D8 is the closest GeoCache.

Please take photos of Spock at Vulcan or any Trekkie events along the way.

After visiting Vulcan (all of them) please return Spock to GCJD02, so I can pick him up. Thanks!

    Vulcan in Columbiana County, Ohio is done! 👍
    However, at the place where Google and all the online maps (and my GPSr) say that "Vulcan' is located... there is nothing there except a mineral plant!
    A few hundred feet north is the welcome sign to Wellsville, Ohio.
    I have no idea what Vulcan is or was, or why it shows as a town on the maps.
    I placed the travel bug in the nearest cache, which conveniently happens to be the Wellsville Historical Society, so maybe they will be able to shed some light on this mystery? LOL

    This old-timer lives again!
    I don't understand why the online maps think the Vulcan in Columbiana County is part of Wellsville, Ohio (there is no town I know of with such a name there) but I will be able to take it there DIRECTLY pretty soon.
    By the way, GCJD02 is archived, so you might want to pick a different cache for his final destination 😁

    Believe it or not this bug was never placed in the last cache. Can you guess where it was? I found this guy forgotten in a box of my brother's (the guilty earthy5000) stuff in my basement. I have come to this bugs rescue and will move it on soon.
