Current Goal

Ahoy Geocachers, My name is Soiled Gingerbread Man. Perhaps you have not heard of me yet, but upon the completion of my novel I anticipate world fame. A small setback, however, is that I have been plagued with a case of writer's block. I have turned to the world of Geocaching for help. I made a small metalic replica of myself which I will unleash shortly. If everyone who logs a find writes a chapter or even a couple sentences, we can be done in no time! The theme of the novel is flexible, but plot twists and villans are a must! I also need illustrations and/or pictures to include, so any would be appreciated. Ok folks, good luck!!

Creating Soiled Gingerbread Man

Chapter One: Scotty was jogging along side the road when he heard hoofs pattering on the pavement beside him. He looked and saw nothing. His next mistake was continuing on his way.

Moving...
...slowly due to writer's bloc!

Searching to find a place to hide, so he wouldn’t be trampled, Scotty found a small cave. He slid into the opening between the rocks. Whew… he was safe for now. There was something really strange about this opening. Scotty goes a bit deeper into the cave. “What is this???” Scotty finds a big metal box, with the word ‘Ammo’ on the side. What would an ammo box be doing in a cave, and whomever left it, will sure to be back for it. HUMANS, “I’m a gonner now” Scotty thought to himself. He thought he better take a look. To his surprise, there weren’t any bullets in this box. He found……

Scotty was exhausted, and his mind raced with troubled memories about a past experience involving a charcoal grill. But he was a survivor; after all, he is THE GINGERBREAD MAN. He reminded himself that he could outrun just about any creature on this earth. He tried to rationalize his thoughts....the hooves sounded loud, but to him that was a good indication that the creatures chasing him were herbivores. Certainly, they would have no interest in a man made of sugar and flour (or tin, his current physical state). He would have to use his panther-like reflexes to get out of this predicament!

The sounds of hooves continued to ring in Scotty's ears. Every backward glance revealed no visible signs of anything. The sweat beaded on his forehead and streamed down his face. His chest labored with every breath and his heart quickly joined into the rhythm of the hoof beat.

Signing off,
Lost Boys
