Current Goal

Ahoy Geocachers, My name is Soiled Gingerbread Man. Perhaps you have not heard of me yet, but upon the completion of my novel I anticipate world fame. A small setback, however, is that I have been plagued with a case of writer's block. I have turned to the world of Geocaching for help. I made a small metalic replica of myself which I will unleash shortly. If everyone who logs a find writes a chapter or even a couple sentences, we can be done in no time! The theme of the novel is flexible, but plot twists and villans are a must! I also need illustrations and/or pictures to include, so any would be appreciated. Ok folks, good luck!!

About This Item

Creating Soiled Gingerbread Man

Chapter One: Scotty was jogging along side the road when he heard hoofs pattering on the pavement beside him. He looked and saw nothing. His next mistake was continuing on his way.

...ahead of him was a turbulant white water rapids and before his kayak rolled over he paddled for shore. He climbed up a slippery snowcovered rocky hill; low and behold while looking for a safe cave to spend the night in, he found another ammo can. It had the same strange words "Geocaching" on the side so he peeked inside and saw that it was full of treasures and even a coin who was trying to travel as far as possible. The coin was able to explain a bit about the ammo boxes being fairly safe but there were stories of bomb squads coming along and blowing up some of these "safe places." There's usually not much warning just the approach of human foot steps then "kapow" the box and everything and everyone in it gets blown to smitherings. Gingerbread man could hardly sleep those next couple nights, but since he could not find a bomb he figured he was safe. As he got comfortable and figured this might not be a bad spot to spend the winter he heard foot steps approaching, he was scooped out of the box, looked at, and stuffed into a warm dark bag attatched to some human's waist....

He was about to eat the sandwich when he heard a voice in the dark damp cave say..."Please don't eat that. It will give you indigestion."

The Gingerbread man heeded the advice and set the aromatic burger back into the container. Now where is that voice coming from? "Who is that? Hello? Do not be afraid, I AM the Gingerbread man!"

The voice responded, " You need to leave before they come back."
 "Who?"
"Some big clown in a funny oufit."
At this the Gingerbread Man took off running because of an unfortunate past experience with a clown at the circus. However, that is another story.

It was time to run off to some new adventures. He hopped into his kayak and paddled down the Eau Claire River in Central Wisconsin. There was much scenery to be seen and much history to explore. As The Gingerbread Man manuevered his kayak around a bend he couldn't believe what lay ahead. His eyes bulged with excitement as he saw...
