Foggy Frog wants to go to England. He longs for bangers and mash, fish and chips, and spotted dick. The climate there is great for his skin and he thinks he’d like to learn to croak in the cadence of the Westminster chimes. Like all good pilgrims to England, he’d love to make it to Canterbury Cathedral where he promises he’d be most quiet and respectful. We’re looking forward to hearing all Fogger’s stories when he returns to Seattle, and of course, your reports of his exploits as you help him on his way.

OH NO! Just last week we had some TBs go to England! Found him just a little too late! We will move him to Chicago near O'hare airport, maybe he can hitch a ride there.

As we approached the tunnel, we saw a little brown frog about the size of this one. It hopped along then dove into the stream at the size of the trail. If we had already picked up Foggy, we would have tried to get a photo of them together.

I found this cute little guy and was immediately reminded of all the psychology classes I took in college. The first thing that ran through my mind was operant conditioning and the pairing of two stimuli. These clicker things are sometimes used in obedience trainings for dogs. I'm not sure on the exact details, but I believe that dog treats and the click from the clicker are paired together when a dog exibits the desired behavior. Eventually the food is faded (decreased over time) and the "click" is eventually used as a reinforcer for the dog. I'm not going to England any time soon, but will pass it along and hopefully someone else will be heading in that direction.
