Current Goal

I am on a mission to raise awareness of the importance of blood donors. Contact your local blood center and donate today!  My original travel goal was to return to Lakewood, CO near the home of my maker, CaridianBCT/Terumo.  I desire to be near blood collection or medical facilities, due to my nature. Please take my picture with anything medical and submit them to the log.  

 Huge thanks to all who have carried this travelbug on his way!  It originally was destined back to the COBE Cache in Lakewood, CO.  Home of it's inventor's and makers,  but that cache is gone.. 

 

I had previously requested this bug come over to beautiful Sussex County, NJ, but now I'm living on the Carolina Coast, between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach.  I have just missed seeing this bug in New Jersey, (huge thanks to all who have helped it's mission of goodwill!)  I have a final mission for this guy, to come down to Shalotte, NC.  It's been an amazing 12 year journey so far for this guy!

Chamber loaded and ready

This unique item is a patented device used in the collection and separation of blood components. It is part of a disposable, one-time use kit for the Trima Accel system. This item has not been used in an actual blood collection procedure. This TB is on it's second run, so I left the pics from the original TB on here. It was a cat previously. This TB used to be an Atari 800 Smart Terminal Cartridge. Good times, that cart used to be....

Grabbed this from a cache at an altitude of 10,431 feet today! The missus has donated 5 gallons of her O negative CMV negative blood. They won't take it any more because we lived in England for 6 years! Guess we could go back to England and donate there! Hubby's mom had leukemia and was the recipient of many transfusions. Thanks to all who donate! Will move next week or so on a long trip.

I had to replace the container on my flashlight night cache. Since the new container is to small to hold items I took out your TB out to move it on to a new home. I never new what a leukoreduction chamber was till now thanks for the kewl TB.
